Is ZenCortex a Liquid, a Pill or a Capsule?

Quick answer

ZenCortex is a liquid, not a pill or a capsule. It comes in a 60 mL amber glass bottle with a dropper, and a serving is 1 mL, one full dropper, taken by mouth. It is not an ear drop. The Supplement Facts panel lists no capsule shell, tablet binder or capsule count, so any page that shows ZenCortex pills does not match the label.

The form01

Is ZenCortex a liquid or a pill?

ZenCortex is a liquid dietary supplement, sold as drops in a 60 mL (2 fl oz) amber glass dropper bottle with a black cap.

The front of the bottle says "DIETARY SUPPLEMENT" and "60ML / 2 FL OZ". The Supplement Facts panel gives the serving size as 1 mL, one dropper, and lists 60 servings. A pill bottle would show a count of tablets or capsules instead.

The other ingredients confirm the form: deionized water, organic citrus extract, natural flavors, stevia (steviol glycosides) and xylitol. Water is the base, which is what makes it a liquid.

Not a capsule, gummy or ear drop

We found no capsule, tablet or gummy version on the label. If you see one sold under the ZenCortex name, treat it as a different product and ask the seller for its Supplement Facts before you pay.

How it is taken02

Are ZenCortex drops put in the ear or taken by mouth?

ZenCortex drops are taken by mouth. They are not ear drops, and nothing on the label says to put them in the ear.

The label says "Adults, take approximately 1 dropper full twice daily or as directed by a healthcare professional". The seller's info page adds that you can place a dropper under the tongue or mix it into water or juice, before breakfast and before lunch (ZenCortex info page).

Ear drops are a different kind of product and are used for things like infection or wax. Do not put any liquid in an ear that hurts, drains or may have a hole in the eardrum, and see a clinician for pain or drainage (MedlinePlus, Ear Wax). Sudden hearing loss in one ear needs same-day care (NIDCD, Sudden Deafness).

Keep taking any prescribed medicine as directed.

Side by side03

How do ZenCortex drops compare with capsules?

Drops and capsules deliver the same kind of ingredients in different ways. Drops are measured by volume, while capsules are counted.

The form says little about whether a product works. What matters is what is inside, how much, and what evidence exists. For ZenCortex, the amounts are hidden inside a 200 mg blend whichever way it is packaged.

We make no claim that liquids absorb better than capsules. We found no study of ZenCortex in either form.

Measuring04

How do you measure one dropper of ZenCortex?

Measure one dropper of ZenCortex by squeezing the bulb, dipping the tip, releasing to draw liquid up to the 1 mL line, and then emptying it.

The serving is 1 mL. A bottle holds 60 mL, so it holds 60 servings. Two droppers a day finish a bottle in 30 days, and if you finish it much sooner, you are taking more than the label says.

  1. Check the seal

Do not use the bottle if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

  2. Draw to the line

Squeeze the bulb, dip the tip, and release slowly. Hold it upright and check the 1 mL mark at eye level.

  3. Take it

Place it under the tongue or mix it into water or juice, as the info page says.

  4. Rinse and cap

Wipe the tip, close the cap and store the bottle in a cool, dry place.

A day-by-day plan is on how to take ZenCortex. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

What is inside05

What is inside the ZenCortex liquid?

Inside the ZenCortex liquid are chromium picolinate and a 200 mg Proprietary Herbal Blend of 22 lines, plus water, citrus extract, flavors, stevia and xylitol.

Filter the list below by group. Plant extracts are the biggest set, then amino acids, then the one mineral. The order of the lines is the order on the label, from most to least by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 Supplement Facts).

The word-for-word panel is on ZenCortex supplement facts.

Storage and safety06

Is ZenCortex safe around pets and children?

Keep ZenCortex out of reach of children and pets. The label says to keep it away from children, and xylitol, one of its other ingredients, is toxic to dogs.

FDA warns that xylitol poisoning in dogs can begin within about 20 minutes, with vomiting and weakness among the signs (FDA, Xylitol Is Toxic to Dogs). A leaked dropper bottle or a dropped bulb is an easy target for a curious dog. If a pet swallows any, call a veterinarian right away.

People under 18, pregnancy and nursing

The label says ZenCortex is not for anyone under 18 or anyone pregnant or nursing, and to consult a physician before use, especially with a medication or a medical condition.

The form also changes how you store it. Liquids are easier to spill than capsules, so cap it after each use and keep it upright in a cool, dry place.

Choosing07

Should you choose drops or capsules?

Choose the form you will take correctly and the ingredients you can verify. Neither form is proven better for hearing.

Drops suit people who dislike swallowing pills and do not mind measuring. Capsules suit people who want a fixed unit and no taste. Ask whether the label shows amounts, whether any trial exists and whether the ingredients clash with your medicines.

See ZenCortex pricing for packs, and the ingredients for each line.

FAQ08

ZenCortex questions people ask

Does ZenCortex come in capsules or tablets?

Not as far as the label or the seller's info page shows. The bottle is a 60 mL liquid with a dropper and a 1 mL serving. If another site lists ZenCortex capsules, the Supplement Facts it shows will not match this label.

How many drops are in one ZenCortex serving?

The label counts droppers, not drops. A serving is 1 mL, one full dropper, so you fill the dropper to the 1 mL line. Counting individual drops is not what the bottle asks for, and the number of drops can vary with the dropper.

Can you mix ZenCortex drops into water or juice?

The seller's info page says you can place a dropper under the tongue or mix it into water or juice. The bottle itself prints no mixing advice (ZenCortex info page). Take the full dropper, and do not exceed the label dose.

Is ZenCortex the same as ear drops for hearing?

No. ZenCortex is a dietary supplement taken by mouth. Ear drops are medicines or wax softeners placed in the ear. Never put ZenCortex in the ear, and see a clinician for ear pain, drainage or sudden hearing loss in one ear.

Does ZenCortex liquid have a shelf life or need refrigeration?

The label says to store it in a cool, dry place and prints no refrigeration rule. We found no expiration or use-by statement in the material we read, so check your own bottle for a date and the seal.

Why does ZenCortex contain xylitol?

Xylitol is a sweetener listed under other ingredients, beside stevia and natural flavors, in a water base. It is toxic to dogs, so keep the bottle where pets cannot reach it (FDA, Xylitol Is Toxic to Dogs).

Are liquid supplements absorbed better than capsules?

We found no evidence for that in the sources we checked, and none tested ZenCortex. A liquid can be easier to swallow, but absorption claims need a study of the actual product, which does not exist here.
