What are these amino acids studied for?
Each amino acid has its own research, and none of it is about hearing. The cited pages cover heart health, exercise, cancer care and dementia.
Beta-alanine gives a useful comparison. A federal page says 800 mg or more at once can cause harmless tingling (NIH ODS, Exercise and Athletic Performance). Beta-alanine's ceiling on this label is 11.8 mg, about 68 times lower. Study doses tell you little about a drop.
Arginine evidence on the heart is mixed, and it may add to blood-pressure medicine (MSK, Arginine). Carnitine has no upper limit set. Tryptophan is linked with serotonin syndrome when mixed with serotonin-affecting medicines (Cleveland Clinic, Serotonin Syndrome).
